VerifiedStay

Accessibility statement

The website should meet the standard we ask of every property

We build and test VerifiedStay against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That framework organises accessibility around content being perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. If any part of this site gets in your way, we want to hear about it and fix it.

What we commit to

Keyboard operable

Every control works without a mouse, with a visible focus outline you can always see.

Screen-reader friendly

Meaningful headings, labels, landmarks and image descriptions throughout.

Readable and resizable

Text reflows and stays usable when you zoom to 200% or increase text size.

Strong colour contrast

Body text and controls meet or exceed the AA contrast ratios.

Clear forms and errors

Labels stay visible, and errors are described in words, not colour alone.

No traps or time limits

No forced timers during booking, and no image or puzzle CAPTCHA.

Plain language

We write simply and offer easy-read explanations where we can.

Large touch targets

Buttons and links are big enough to tap comfortably.

We also include

  • Address lookup that always allows manual entry
  • More than one way to contact us
  • Confirmation by both email and text
  • The ability to book without using a telephone
  • Testing with disabled users, not just automated tools

Tell us

Report a website barrier

If something here is hard to use with your assistive technology, or just hard to use, let us know. We log every report, aim to reply within two working days, and tell you what changed.

This statement is reviewed regularly. Last reviewed July 2026.

You never have to share a diagnosis. Tell us the practical thing you need.

How should we reply?

Prototype only. Nothing is actually sent.
