VerifiedStay

How verification works

A host cannot mark a feature present without proof. We review the photos, video and measurements. For the top level, a trained assessor visits and measures the place in person.

Each listing shows what we checked and the date we checked it.

Our verification journey

  1. Host submission

Hosts complete our detailed accessibility questionnaire about their property.

  2. Evidence upload

Hosts upload supporting evidence including photos, videos and measurements.

  3. Remote review

Our team reviews all evidence for accuracy, completeness and consistency.

  4. Independent inspection

A qualified access assessor visits the property to verify details on-site.

  5. Periodic re-verification

We re-check key information regularly to keep listings up to date and reliable.

Assessors work for you, not the host

Assessors are independent of the hosts and of us. They are not paid more for a pass than for a fail.

If something goes wrong

What we do when a stay does not match its listing.

  • If it turns out wrong

A stay that does not match its listing gets you support first. We investigate after.

  • Safety, not just ramps

We look at the locks, the alarms and how doors open in a fire.

  • Built to compare

The same measurements sit on every listing, so you can line them up.

  • Ask a real person

Message us before you book. We reply by text or email.

Not as described?

If a verified property does not meet the stated accessibility information, contact us. We will investigate and help put it right.
